About Lumbini: Lumbini is the birthplace of Buddha and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Situated to the southwest of Kathmandu near the Nepal-India border. Inspired by the United Nations, a massive development project including monument complexes and modern transport and accommodation facilities is underway to transform the sacred spot into an international religious and cultural center. A stone pillar erected by the Indian Emperor Ashoka in 249 BC to commemorate his pilgrimage stands here to mark the holy birthplace. Recent excavations have uncovered more artifacts of archaeological importance.

About Bandipur: Bandipur is one of the famous tourist village located in the Tanahu district. Bandipur was established as a funneling point of trade by Newar traders from Bhaktapur in the Kathmandu valley after it had been conquered in 1768 by Prithvi Narayan Shah. They took advantage of its malaria free location to develop it into an important stop along the India Tibet trade route. With them they brought their cultural heritage and architecture which basically has remained unchanged to this day.
Originally a simple Magar village in the early 19th Century, Bandipur developed into prosperous trading center and a community with town-like features: substantial buildings, with their neoclassical façades and shuttered windows and streets paved with slabs of silverfish slate.
Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and meet day at the Kathmandu Airport. First we welcome you to home of Mt. Everest, Nepal, country of Himalayas. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport our representative will welcome you and assists to transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. You will have to make rest day in Kathmandu. Make permit day and you can look around in Kathmandu valley or make Sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu valley. After time to get refreshed, evening you will meet and transfer for the welcome dinner in any comfortable restaurant in Kathmandu and short briefing about your trip and overnight hotel.
Day 02: Morning breakfast at Hotel. Visit Patan Durbar Square & Tibetan Refugee Camp. Lunch at Hotel and visit Pashupatinath and Boudhanath temple. Transfer back to Hotel, dinner at Bhojan Griha typical Nepalese Restaurant with cultural dance.
Day 03: Breakfast at Hotel. Transfer to the Kathmandu Airport and fly to Bhairahawa. Transfer to Hotel in Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha. Welcome drink served and Check in Hotel. Lunch Provided. Afternoon sightseeing of Lumbini. Dinner at the Hotel and overnight.
Day 04: Breakfast at Hotel. Full day sightseeing of Lumbini, Learn the description of the sightseeing places. Dinner at Hotel and overnight.
Day 05: Breakfast at Hotel. Then drive to Bandipur village on the way to Kathmandu. After lunch, explore the village. Dinner and overnight at lodge.
Day 06: After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu. Lunch and Rest. Evening walk and farewell Dinner with Nepali Cultural program and overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Departure day in Kathmandu. See you again in the wonderful Himalayan country, Nepal. Today is free and last day, you have few hours special shopping for your friend and family to gift, relatives until your departure flight to your home country. Or any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. You will be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your home country. Hope to see you again in Nepal.
