Ghorepani Poon Hill View Short 3 days Trek is much more popular and relatively short easy trekking trip in the Annapurna region. The walking for this Ghorepani Poon Hill View trek begins at Pokhara and as you wind your way up terraced hill sides through villages of the Gurung and Chhetri communities, you emerge on high ridges from where the great peaks of the Annapurna South, Hiunchuili, Gangapurna Annapurna 3, Annapurna 2 and Lamjung Himal and the mesmerizing pinnacle Machhapuchhre, the Fishtail Mountain are greatly rising. Itinerary
Day 01: Arrival and meet day at the Kathmandu Airport
First we welcome you to home of Mt. Everest, Nepal, country of Himalayas. Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport our representative will welcome you and assists to transfer to your hotel in Kathmandu. You will have to make rest day in Kathmandu. Make permit day and you can look around in Kathmandu valley or make Sightseeing tour in the Kathmandu valley. After time to get refreshed, evening you will meet and transfer for the welcome dinner in Nepal Culture restaurant in the heart of Kathmandu and bring briefing about your trip and overnight hotel.
Day 02: Drive or flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara valley, 7/8 hour
Early morning flight or drive by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful Nepalese Himalayan country side to reach the Pokhara lake side and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day to explore the surrounding lake side areas and overnight at hotel.
Day 03: Drive 45 minute to Nayapul and trek start to Tikhedhunga (1,577m), 3/4 hour
After breakfast our trekking guide will give you all info and 45 minute drive to Nayapul and commence our trek to Birethanti, a large and prosperous town beside the Modi River. We head up the main trail to Sudami where we climb gradually up the side of the valley, reaching Hille (1495m) before pushing on to Tikhedhunga and we climb high hill to Ulleri and best view Annapurna south (7219m) and Hiunchuli (6441m).
Day 04: Trek Tikhedhunga or Ulleri to Ghorepani (2,855m), 5/6 hour
After breakfast we prepare for the long uphill and start with steeply ascends on the long stone steps to Ulleri (1950m) village with the amazing landscape and the Himalayan scenery. We spend a pleasant day's trekking through rhododendron and oak forests. The scenery gives you inner power to climb up these steps and immerse you to walk more. After few hours of walking with several breaks in between reaching at Ghorepani, we can enjoy the fantastic best views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, Himal Chuli or Nepal Himalayan range.
Day 05: Trek back from Ghorepani to Nayapul and pokhara ending the Trek
A steady climbing down past startling green cultivated land and picturesque, beautifully preserved farms to the scurrying Modi River, which the trail follow back to Birenthanti and Nyapul. Drive back to pokhara. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 06: Drive or flight back from Pokhara to Kathmandu
Early morning drive by tourist bus to Pokhara through the beautiful Nepalese country side to reach the Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the time relax or explore the surrounding areas specially shopping and back to overnight at hotel.
Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu, Nepal to your home country
See you again wonderful Himalayan country in Nepal. Today is free or last minute you have few hour special shopping for your friend and family to gift, relatives for you until your departure flight to your home country. Or any extra trips or activities you may have booked with us. If departing, you will be transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your home country. Hope to see you again Nepal Himalayan country.
