Nepal Easy Trek offers the best trekking season in Nepal and is popular in Nepal. However, the Nepali weather is not as consistent as you would expect. It varies depending on the trekking season. During autumn, trekkers will witness a sunny blue sky and a warm temperature at night. Autumn starts in the first week of September and lasts until Christmas day. Spring begins in the first week of March and ends in the last week of May. Occasionally, you will experience rainfall during the spring season.
The climate is typically arduous for trekkers and mountain climbers because of the frequent rainfall and hot temperatures. Often times, the trekking trails are muddy, difficult to pass through, and literally infested with leeches. Definitely, this is what the trekkers want to avoid during the trekking season. Due to the terrible weather, trekkers and mountaineers are not able to see stunning views of the region since the mountains are covered by clouds.
There are some areas located in the southern Himalayan region that receive less rainfall during this season. The trans-Himalayan areas of the Mustang Valley Trek, Dolpo Trek, Tibet Tour, and treks can be favorable trekking options for those really interested in exploring Nepal’s superb mountain ranges, lush green forests, and varied species of flora and fauna. The climate can be comfortably warm and very well suited for trekking.
Autumn is the most preferred season for Nepal trekking. Avid trekkers are welcomed by warm and sunny days. Amazingly, the weather is quite clear, allowing you to breathe in the smell of fresh green leaves from its lush, vibrant forests. However, there is a slight drawback, especially when you reach higher altitudes. Trekkers soon notice that during the night, the temperature drops below freezing. So bring enough blankets, thick clothing, and other essential gear to keep you warm until daytime.
Some trekkers also prefer to enjoy trekking during the winter. The winter trekking season in Nepal begins in December and lasts until the end of February. Typically, this trekking season is still considered a good one for trekking since during the daytime the temperature is cool yet comfortable. But during the night, the temperature might get very cold. The climate can be unpredictable, and you may encounter a few winter storms that bring snow.
The busiest and best months for trekking in Nepal are October, November, and December. The temperature can get really cold, especially in higher altitudes, during mid-winter, which starts from January through March. Often times, semi-regular rainfalls are more prevalent when paired with winter storms. It is during the middle of December and mid-February that the temperature is coldest.
Planning your trip in advance and traveling to Nepal during the most favorable season helps you avoid problems along the way. The trekking season is not the only factor you need to consider on your trip. You should take time to prepare the other basic supplies and necessities needed, including appropriate equipment and gear, enough clothing, and a sufficient amount of money for trekking fees. An experienced and reliable trekking guide will help you with the permits and other documents required before you are allowed to trek to various destinations.
We wish you a wonderful, exciting, and adventurous trekking trip in Nepal with us. We are always ready to welcome you with our best services.
