This part of your journey will take you across high mountain passes, including Lalung La Pass (5,125 meters) and Shung La Pass (5,210 meters). Along the way, you'll be treated to enchanting views of surrounding peaks, including Shishapangma, Cho Oyu, Menlungtse, and Gauri Shankar.

In the morning, a short jeep drive will take you a few kilometers from Zhangmu to the Friendship Bridge, spanning the Bhote Koshi River. This bridge marks the border between Tibet and Nepal and serves as the immigration control point in Kodari.

At this juncture, you will bid farewell to your Tibetan guide, who has been instrumental in ensuring your journey's success. You will then cross the Friendship Bridge, walking across the river to meet your Nepalese escort, who will facilitate your drive to Kathmandu.

The drive back to Kathmandu will take approximately 5 to 6 hours, allowing you to enjoy the changing landscapes as you leave behind the Tibetan plateau and re-enter Nepal. You will pass through picturesque terrain and enjoy the unique vistas along the way.
