We have designed 11 days paragliding tour that gives you a fantastic flying opportunity over the Annapurna Himalayas in Nepal. Do not think that you have to be full on comp pilot to fly here. Almost any level of experience will see you equally enjoying the pilot friendly conditions that this unique subtropical climate provides.
You will be welcomed at the Kathmandu airport (TIA) and spend a night in Kathmandu before being flown to Pokhara aboard a Twin Otter STOL aircraft. The chilled atmosphere and the thrilling views of the huge mountains during the flight will be your exciting experience. The beautiful lakeside town of Pokhara, nestled at the foot of the Annapurna massif, is dwarfed by 3 of the highest mountains in the world.
Here we will introduce you to the Himalayan with a few days flying spectacular sites around the valley and lake. From Pokhara we set off on a 5 day Para trek with Sherpa's to carry our equipment, set-up camp and cook us some amazing food. So all you have to do is relax and think of flying these incredible mountains. After dinner in the mess tent, it is normal for the entire village to come and welcome us in the traditional way, with a night of singing and dancing, under the stars and around the camp fire. A fantastic way to end a day's flying.

Itinerary

Day 1:
Kathmandu
Welcome at the airport and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.

Day 2:
Kathmandu-Bandipur
Transfer to the first flying site Bandipur for our first quiet fly. Relax in hotel.

Day 3:
Bandipur and Marsyandi valley
Expedition new flying site. Fly and transfer to your hotel.

Day 4:
Bandipur Pokhara
Jeep drives to the Sarangkot hill (1500 m) for a flight and a small cross. Great views of the Annapurna and the Machapuchare.

Day 5:
Pokhara
Briefing and cross-country around Pokhara.

Day 6:
Pokhara
Cross country flight from Pokhara to the first hill of Annapurna.

Day 7:
Expedition
Expedition by jeep, 1hr 30 min from Pokhara. And return to Pokhara by flight.

Day 8:
AndhiKhola valley
Expedition in the AndhiKhola valley

Day 9:
Pokhara
Fly in Pokhara.

Day 10:
Pokhara – Kathmandu
In the morning, transfer to Kathmandu. Afternoon leisure time in Kathmandu.

Day 11:
Kathmandu
Departure time, transfer to the airport and fly back home.

Cloud-Buster:

This is midday flight gives you the thrill of a high flight as we thermal up above Sarangkot in the company of eagles and vultures. It’s a 30 minute flight and we land by the lake.

Tour cost: US$ 150.00 per person.

Cross-country:

This is one hour flight offers you the chance to experience flying from one valley to another. Using thermals, clouds and birds to guide us, we take you on an unforgettable journey north of Pokhara towards the Annapurna mountain range. Based on the weather conditions we fly as far as we can and aim to return to Pokhara same afternoon. A fly reach altitude of between 2500m to 3400m before returning Pokhara by air.

Acrobatic flying:

World class acro pilots can do with a wing as you loop, spin and spiral through the air. Performing maneuvers called “SAT”,” Wingover” and “Helicopter. This is about 20 minutes flight will leave you breathless.
