Naya Kanga Peak Climbing Description
Naya Kanga Peak Climbing offers you to summit Naya Kanga trekking peak situated in the Langtang region of Nepal. The peak is also known as Ganja La and one of the popular trekking peaks in Nepal. Langtang is a popular destination for peak climbing with many spectacular and panoramic views of the Himalayas in Nepal and Tibet. Easy access to the region and availability of several snow peaks scattered around for acclimatization make this region an ideal destination for mountaineers.
Naya Kanga Peak (5844m) is an attractive mountain rising to the west of the Ganja La (5122m). Ascending to Ganja La or the summit of Naya Kanga will thrill your heart to view the majestic mountains in Nepal and Tibet like Langshisa Ri (6,370m), Pemthang Ri (6,836m), Shisapangma (8,099m), Langtang Lirung (7,425m), PemthangKapro Ri (6,830m) and Langtang II (6,571m).
The normal route to Naya Kanga Peak is via the northeast ridge over a line of ice and snow. We follow the route of Langtang trek to Kyanjin (3,749m) for the ascent of Naya Kanga. To the north above Kanjin, there are several hills that provide both the magnificent views and the acclimatization. North-east of Kyanjin Ri (4,700m), there are two peaks; Yala Peak (5, 500m) and Tsergo Peak (5,749m) that provide good climbing for acclimatization.

Day 01:Arrive and Meet at Kathmandu Airport and transfer to the hotel
Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi
Day 03:Trek Syabrubesito Lama Hotel (2340m) - 5/6 hour
Day 04:Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3331m) - 5/6 hour
Day 05:Trek Langtang Valley to Kyanjin Gompa (3731m) - 3/4 hour
Day 06:Rest day at Kyanjin Gompa and hiking view point
Day 07:Trek Kyanjin Gompa to NayaKangaBase Camp (4430m) - 4/5 hour
Day 08:From Base Camp to High Camp (4965m) - 4/5 hour
Day 09:Prepare to summit NayaKanga Peak and back to High Camp after the summit
Day 10:Trek back High Camp to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 11:Trek back Kyanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel
Day 12:Trek back Lama Hotel to ThuloShabru
Day 13:Trek back ThuloShabru to Dhunche
Day 14:Drive back Dhunche to Kathmandu
Day 15:Departure day in Kathmandu.
