Yala Peak Climbing Description

Yala Peak Climbing offers you to summit the simplest and non-technical Yala Peak situated in the Langtang region of Nepal. It is the best peak climbing option with less time beyond the hiking experience into the Langtang region.

Yala Peak summit is best renowned for the excellent viewpoint of Shishapangma (8013m) which is the smallest eight-thousandermountain in the world and the highest in Tibet.

You will enjoy the stunning views of Lantang Lirung (7250m), Lenpo Gang (7083m), Dorje Lakpa (6970m) and mighty Shishapangma (8027m) in Tibetan side. Prior climbing experience is not required for Yala Peak climbing. However the outdoor experience and average level of fitness is mandatory.

A narrow Langtang valley that lies just south of the Tibetan border is well known for Himalayan adventure and small easy trek. To the north, the valley is bounded between the main Himalayan range and a bit of the lower range of snow peaks to the south. The mountain LangtangLirung (7250m) direct the valley to the north; Gang Chhenpo (6390m) and Shishapangma, Naya Kanga 5850m lie to the south following DorjeLakpa peak (6970m) to protect valley to the east.

The valley area has been conserved as the LangtangHimalayan National Park since 1971. The Red panda, Black bear, Himalayan Thar, Lophophorus, colorful birds, pigeons and much more flora and fauna are the main ornaments of this National park. During the day we can find a longer monkey in the visit.

The trekking begins in the lower Langtang valley Trek through its forests and among the village and farmland its people many of are of the Tibetan origin but now known as Tamang.This area is rich of the Tibetan culture typical way of their living and Buddhist Monastery chortenManiwall and prayer wheel. This was once an important trading route with Tibet, so that the villagers and people are involved in trade. On the way our very good journey you will have walked through Langtang National Park.

Day 02:Drive from Kathmandu to Syabrubesi

Day 03:Trek Syabrubesi to Lama Hotel (2340m) - 5/6 hour

Day 04:Trek Lama Hotel to Langtang Valley (3331m) - 5/6 hour

Day 05:Trek Langtang Valley to KyanjinGompa (3731m) - 3/4 hour

Day 06:Rest day at KyanjinGompa and hiking view point

Day 07:Trek KyanjinGompa to Yala Peak Base Camp - 4/5 hour

Day 08:From Base Camp to High Camp (4965m) - 4/5 hour

Day 09:Prepare to summit Yala Peak and back to High Camp after the summit

Day 10:Trek back High Camp to KyanjinGompa

Day 11:Trek back KyanjinGompa to Lama Hotel

Day 12:Trek back Lama Hotel to ThuloShabru
