Energy-Boosting Snacks: Given the physical demands of trekking at high altitudes, it's crucial to maintain energy levels throughout the day. Teahouses and lodges offer a selection of energy-boosting snacks such as nuts, trail mix, chocolate bars, and locally made snacks like "gundruk," fermented leafy greens that are not only nutritious but also aid in digestion. These snacks are readily available to keep trekkers fueled during long stretches of hiking.
