Pikey Peak Trek Trip Description
Pikey Peak Trek is a new trekking route to the Pikey peak in the Solukhumbu Region. Pikey peak is a one of the tallest hills in the Solu. The name Pikey is derived from the name of a Sherpa Clan deity. During the month of July the locals hold different celebrations to worship their clan god. This peak offers a majestic view of the Everest Himalayan Range and NumburChuli.
Lying just to the south of the original Everest Trail from Bhandar we pass through authentic Sherpa villages. From the LinkhuKhola we climb steadily through terraced fields, on the trail we find rhododendron and magnolia forest. We now leave the villages behind us and ascend further through hemlock firs to the cheese factory at Ngaur. The following day we ascend the summit of Pike Peak giving spectacular views of Mountain likeGaurishankar, Thamsherkhu, Numbur Himal, Makalu and Mt. Everest.

Pikey Peak Trek Itinerary
Day 01:Arrival and Meet day at the Kathmandu Airport
Day 02:Kathmandu valley sightseeing
Day 03:Drive Kathmandu to Jiri by private Car or Jeep, about 7 to 8 hour drive and overnight Hotel at Jiri (1955m)
Day 04:Trek to Deurali (1770m), 6/7 hours walk, overnight camp
Day 05:Trek to Goli Gumbo (2980m), 6-7 hours walk,overnight camp
Day 06:Trek to Ngaur (3350m), 4/5 hour walk, overnight camp
Day 07:Early morning excursion to Pikey Peak (4070m). Himalayan range views from Pikey and continue to KhuniKhop (2360m),overnight camp
Day 08:Trek to Jum beshi, 4/5 hours walk, overnightcamp
Day 09:Excursion tour to Thupthencholung monastery, back to Junbesi (2800m)6/7 hourwalk, overnight camp
Day 10:Visit to Chiwang monastery (3000m) and trek toPhaplu and Camp or Lodge
Day 11:Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu, 40 minute flight, transfer to hotel
Day 12:Free day for shopping. Evening farewell Nepali dinner with culture program
Day 13:Departure from Kathmandu to your home country
